Course Title : Companion Animals Internal Medicine II

Course Description : The purpose of this course is: to provide the 7th and 8 th semesters students with theoretical and practical skills to diagnose, establish prognosis and develop therapeutic strategies for the management of endocrine, upper and lower urinary tract, gastrointestinal including pancreatic and hepatic, upper – lower airway diseases of dog and cats, haematological and acid-base disorders and infectious diseases of dog and cats,
to provide the student with hands on knowledge in the field of advanced diagnostic imaging including abdominal ultrasonography. To demonstrate the use of advanced CT and MRI in internal medicine.
