Course Title : Large Animal Internal Medicine II

Course Description : This course is designed to familiarize the 7th and 8 th semesters students with the ethology, pathophysiology, epidemiology, clinical presentation, diagnostic Assessment, and treatment of commonly observed bovine and equine internal diseases. Emphasis is placed on the clinical approach for Assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of the sick large animals (both chronic and emergent) in Faculty’s hospital or large animal private farms in the island. Herd health management biosecurity, the importance of client education, and euthanasia issues are also discussed.
