Biography:
Prof. Ersin İstanbulluoğlu, was born in Ankara in 1943, graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Ankara University in 1967. Furthermore he completed his Ph.D degrees during 1971-74 at the Veterinary faculty of the University of Illinois, USA. In addition to his academic work, Prof. İstanbulluoğlu was served as TR. Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs General Manager, Deputy Undersecretary, Agricultural Counsellor at the Permanent Representation to the EU in Brussels during1982-98. He served as Vice Rector at Kırıkkale University during 1998-2006. Prof. İstanbulluoğlu who has the TUBITAK science incentive award has published a number of scientific articles and three published books in national and international journals. In addition, he served as in international and national organizations such as OIE (International Animal Health Organization), World Health Organization, TUBITAK, TR. Representative, technical advisor, committee member. Professor İstanbulluoğlu is married with two children.
