Course Description:The course covers general aspects of ruminant species (cattle, sheep, goats) kept for milk and meat production as well asspecialized topics including: production systems, herd management, growth, lactation and milking methods, reproduction, housing, feeding andanimal welfare. Besides a strong theoretical part, the course includes practical’s and field trips.
